Slide Extension Multi-file Mode for LP4 & LP5

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on using the Slide Extension Multi-file Mode with your LaserPecker LP5 & LP4.

#1 What is the Slide Extension Multi-file Mode

The Multi-file Mode is a feature of the Slide Extension that enables batch engraving of multiple designs in one session.

#2 How to Use Slide Extension Multi-file Mode

For general guidance on Slide Extension assembly, placement, and cable connection, see Use Slide Extension with LaserPecker LP5 & LP4.

Step 1: Toggle on the Slide Extension

Go to the Mode Setting interface, toggle on Slide Extension, and then enable Multi-file Engraving.

Step 2: Import Your Design

Prepare your design and import it into the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS).

Step 3: Start Multi-file Placement Calibration

Follow the prompts to start Multi-file Placement Calibration for optimal batch engraving results.

Step 4: Design adjustment

In this step, Select your design and then click 'Grid' in the toolbar then select "Grid array", you can set the desired number of rows and columns, as well as the spacing, to automatically generate sequential serial numbers. Once all set, click "OK".

Step 5: Preview

Click “Continue” to rotate the Slide Extension and preview the engraving area.

Step 6: Final Result

Set engraving parameters and start engraving to see the final results.
