#1. Introduction to the Versatile Electric Roller

Package Contents:

Check that all items are included in your Versatile Electric Roller package.

Placement of the Versatile Electric Roller:

Ensure the ports of the Versatile Electric Roller are aligned with the same side as the LP2 Electric Stand's Up & Down buttons.

Ports:

Familiarize yourself with the necessary ports for connecting and using the Versatile Electric Roller.

Engraving Modes:

The Versatile Electric Roller offers three modes:

The Versatile Electric Roller supports three engraving modes for different object types:

  • Slab Mode is ideal for flat, long objects. Select "Slab" in the app, set the distance to 110mm, preview the engraving area, adjust the power, depth, and engraving size, and then start engraving.
  • Cylinder Mode works for cylindrical objects. Choose "Cylinder" in the app, ensure the distance is 110mm, preview the engraving area, adjust settings for power, depth, and size, and then begin engraving.
  • Trolley Mode is perfect for heavy, long objects. Select "Trolley" in the app, set the distance to 110mm, preview the engraving area, make the necessary adjustments, and start engraving.

#2 Start Your First Engraving with LP2 & Versatile Electric Roller

Step 1: Import Your Design

Prepare your design and import it into the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS).

Step 2: Turn on the Versatile Electric Roller

Toggle on the "Versatile Electric Roller" option in the LDS "Mode Setting" interface and select your preferred engraving mode: Slab Mode, Cylinder Mode, or Trolley Mode.

Connect the Versatile Electric Roller to the power supply before opening LDS and enabling the toggle. Otherwise, it won't function properly.

Step 3: Preview

Click "Continue" to activate the Versatile Electric Roller and preview the engraving area.

Step 4: Start Engraving

Set the engraving parameters and begin the engraving process. Enjoy your results!
