How to Clear the LDS Software Cache

  • Updated

These instructions apply to all versions of the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) software, including Windows and MacOS.

If you are experiencing an abnormal connection between your machine and LDS and/or operation errors (USB connection failure, LDS flashbacks, etc), there may be a cache error.

Follow the steps below to clear the cache

Step 1:

Make sure the LDS is closed before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2:

Copy the following path and paste it to your computer File Explorer. Remember to replace the username in the path below with your actual username.

On Windows:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\laserpecker_design_spaces

For example:
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\laserpecker_design_spaces

On MacOS:
Users/username/Library/Application Support/laserpecker_design_spaces

For example:
~/Library/Application Support/laserpecker_design_spaces

Step 3:

Delete this folder.

Step 4:

Restart LDS and check if the problem has been solved.
