LaserPecker LP5 Security Key

  • Updated

What Is Security Key?

The Security Key is a physical device that controls access to the machine's laser-related functions. If the Security Key is missing, LaserPecker LP5 will not emit a laser beam.

The safety key prevents the machine from being used by children or other users who do not master the handling and are not trained to operate the laser.

We have equipped each LP5 with 2 security keys. When you receive the LaserPecker LP5, please check that both keys are available.

Operation Access Control

In order to prevent unauthorized use of the machine, please remove the Security Key.

The machine will resume normal use only after the security key has been inserted correctly.

Machine Status Without Inserted Security Key

If your machine is not inserted with a Security Key, the LaserPecker LP5 machine will not emit laser light during preview and engraving (including dual red dots focusing).

When the app or PC software connects to the LP5 device, it is checked whether the security key is plugged in. If the security key does not exist, you will be informed via a pop-up notification that the LP5 is missing the security key.
