No Camera Found - Troubleshoot Camera Connection Issues

This article covers troubleshooting steps for resolving "No Camera Found" connection issues.

Issue Description:

After powering on the LP machine and connecting to LDS, the camera isn't detected.

Steps to troubleshoot "No Camera Found"

Step 1: Ensure the machine's firmware version is V8.0.2 or later. (The camera cannot be detected with earlier firmware versions.)

Step 2: Check whether the current network signal is stable and strong.

Step 3: Check whether the mobile device and the machine are on the same wireless network.

Step 4: Unplug both USB cables from the machine and reconnect them to different USB ports and check if communication is restored.

Step 5: If the camera still can't be found, try to use a new USB-C cable to connect the LP machine and the Safety Enclosure.

Step 6: Check for loose or damaged USB ports. If there is a problem with the hardware please contact us via support@laserpecker.com for further testing and repair.

On iOS devices, if the LDS app runs in the background, the connection to the machine (including the camera) will stop. This is caused by your phone system. To resolve this, reopen the LDS app and reconnect it to your machine.
