1. New Feature: Measuring Focus Function Now Available
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature in the latest version of the LaserPecker software: Measuring Focus Function — designed to give you more precise control during the preview stage.
With this function, you can now manually measure the height from the bottom of the field lens to the surface of the object you want to engrave. Once you enter the measured value and confirm, the Laser Unit will automatically adjust — moving up or down — to reach the optimal focal point.
To help you get started, a new user guide will appear the first time you use this function after updating your software. For additional assistance, simply click the Help button in the interface to view detailed step-by-step instructions.
Supported models:
- LaserPecker LP2
- LaserPecker LP3
- LaserPecker LP4
- LaserPecker LP5
Take advantage of this update to ensure better precision and improved engraving results every time.

7) Fixed Inaccurate Engraving Time Estimation
Previously, engraving time appeared shorter than actual. The duration now reflects real engraving time accurately.
8) Fixed LP5 Pairing Failure (Device Not Found)
The LP5 device sometimes could not be discovered during pairing. Discovery and pairing now work as expected.
9) Optimized LP5 Reconnection on iOS After Sleep
After screen lock or app backgrounding, the LP5 connection could drop. Now, reconnection occurs automatically when the app returns to the foreground.
10) Fixed Connection Issues in Access Point (AP) Mode
After switching to LP5’s Wi-Fi network and opening the app, connection might fail. This issue is now resolved.
11) Fixed Engraving Error with Multi-Element Selection
Only one element would engrave when multiple elements were selected in preview. Now, all selected elements engrave correctly.
12) Fixed Missing Localization in Firmware Update Dialog
Firmware update messages were not properly translated. They now display according to system language settings.
13) Removed Redundant RedLightAdjustKey Option
The RedLightAdjustKey in LP5's Mode Settings was redundant and has been removed.
14) Fixed Missing Status Bar Info on “My Creations” and “Recent Projects” Pages
System status info (e.g., battery, time) was missing from certain pages. It now displays correctly.
Additional fixes included in the iOS patch (v5.9.2):
-
Fixed inaccessible Recommended Parameters when switching to 1064nm laser type:
On LP4/LP5 devices, after switching laser type from 450nm to 1064nm, the recommended parameters panel would fail to open. After the fix, the parameter list now remains accessible. -
Fixed the issue where 1064nm light type setting for line layers failed:
On LP4/LP5 devices, when setting the laser type for line layer to 1064nm, the configuration reverts to 450nm after switching to other layers and switching back. After the fix, the laser type settings now persist across layer operations. -
Fixed a logic error allowing laser type/layer switching in the Recommended Parameters panel:
The software erroneously allowed switching laser types/layers while the recommended parameters panel was active. After the fix, closing the recommended parameters panel is now required before adjusting these settings. -
Removed invalid 10K Resolution option for LP4:
