The recommended focal distance of the LP2 Safeguard is 110 mm, which can be achieved using one of the following two focusing methods.
1. Measurement Focus
- (1) After connecting the machine and entering the preview interface, use a ruler to measure the distance from the bottom of the Laser Unit to the material surface.
- (2) Input this measured distance into the "Measurement Focus" field and click "Confirm". The Laser Unit will then automatically adjust its height to achieve focus based on your input.
2. L-Shaped Ranging Ruler Focus
- (1) Place your engraving material on the Base Plate, then lower the L-shaped Ranging Rod.
- (2) Enter the preview interface. Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to adjust the Laser Unit's height until the rod's bottom lightly touches the material surface; this ensures the correct 110mm focal distance. Once focused, retract the ranging ruler.
- Short press the Up/Down button: Adjusts height by 0.5mm per press.
- Long press the Up/Down button: Continuously moves the Laser Unit up or down. Release the button to stop movement.
