Problem Description
After connecting the LP2 Safeguard to the computer via a USB cable, the machine cannot be found in the "Device connection" list.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check the USB Cable and Computer's USB Port
A faulty USB port or USB cable can prevent the device from being recognized upon connection. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
(1) Check the USB cable for any loose connections. Try unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable.
(2) Try to connect the LP2 using a different USB cable and a different USB port on your computer.
2. Check Computer Drivers
Missing or incorrectly installed driver can prevent the machine from being recognized by your computer. Please follow these steps to check if the computer driver is installed:
(1) Connect the machine to your computer using the USB cable included with the product.
(2) Right-click the "Start" button on your computer.
(3) Open "Device Manager."
(4) Click "Ports (COM & LPT)" and check if the "USB-SERIAL CH340" device is present.

3. Connect LP2 to Another Computer
Connect the LP2 to a different computer to see if the machine is recognized. This helps rule out an issue with your current computer.
