Problem Description
When this issue occurs, you'll see a pop-up error message that says:
"Base Plate Status Error! For your safety, please tighten the two screws shown below with a screwdriver before proceeding."
Troubleshooting Steps
LX2 verifies the proper installation of the Base Plate by detecting whether its screws are securely fastened. This error message usually appears when the Base Plate is not installed correctly, or if a screw is damaged, missing, or not tightened properly. In these cases, the machine may fail to detect the Base Plate as required, triggering an alarm.
Please follow the step below to troubleshoot the issue.
Check the Base Plate
The LX2's Base Plate is secured by six M3×6 screws. The two screws on the top-left side of the Base Plate are used specifically for status detection. Please make sure these two screws are intact, without any visible cracks, and are properly installed in their slots.
If a screw is damaged, you can replace it with a spare from your toolkit. If you have run out of spare screws, you can purchase them from a local hardware store. You can also try using M3*8 screws; they work similarly to the M3*6 screws but are slightly longer.
