Replacing the LX2 Laser Module

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to replace the Laser Module on your LaserPecker LX2.

1. Remove the Laser Module

(1) Turn off the machine power, disconnect the power cable from the Laser Module, and detach the air tube.

(2) Remove the Distance Sensor.

(3) Lift the right-side handle upwards. Then, remove the Laser Module from the slot.

2. Install the New Laser Module

(1) Place the Laser Module onto the mount from top to bottom. During installation, ensure that the bottom of the screw indicated by the red circle in the diagram is completely flush with the surface of the mount.

Improper installation of the Laser Module may affect the calibrate function and potentially damage the Probe Pressing Arm.

(2) Then press down the right-side handle to lock the module in place.

(3) Reconnect the power cable, air tube, and Distance Sensor. Then power on the machine.

(4) After the machine is powered on and initialized, you can connect it to the software. The Laser Module information will be displayed on the right-side panel, allowing you to confirm whether the module is connected correctly.
