Connect to LDS Mobile App
Way 1: Wi-Fi Connection (First-time Wi-Fi setup or changing the network)
When connecting to Wi-Fi for the first time, the machine must be configured for Wi-Fi.
Before proceeding, ensure the following:
• The mobile phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• The LP2 Plus Laser Unit is powered on and the indicator light is flashing white.
Open the LaserPecker Design Space App, tap the “+” button in the top-right corner, select the machine model “LP2-PLUS”, then tap “Connect the device to Wi-Fi”.
Follow the in-app instructions to select the Wi-Fi network. Both the machine and the phone must be connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
When entering the password, it is recommended to enable the “Show Password” option to verify accuracy. Then, tap the "next" button and wait for the device to complete the network configuration. When the blue indicator light on the Laser Unit remains solid, the device is successfully connected to the mobile phone.
If network configuration fails, check the following:
• The mobile phone and the application are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
• The Wi-Fi password is correct (case-sensitive, including special characters).
Way 2: AP Mode (Access Point Mode)
In AP Mode, the LP2 Plus device functions as a wireless access point (AP) and waits for the mobile phone to connect.
In AP mode, the phone will use the Laser Unit's network and temporarily lose its internet access. It is recommended to use this mode outdoors or in places where internet access is not needed.
- Press and hold the Preview button on the machine for 3 seconds to enter AP Mode. Press and hold again to exit AP Mode. While waiting for AP connection, the indicator will flash purple.
- On your phone, go to System Settings > WLAN / Wi-Fi. Find and connect to the network named [LP2P-xxxxx].
- Open the LDS App and tap Tap to Connect Your Machine. Select the [LP2P-xxxxx] network to connect. When paired in AP mode, the LP2 Plus indicator will turn solid purple.
Connect to LDS PC Software
Way 1: USB Cable Connection
Please make sure your computer has the latest LDS software installed.

- Connect the Laser Unit to the computer using a USB data cable.
- Open LDS PC software. Click the Connect the device function, select USB , and choose the detected COM port from the list (e.g., COM6; the actual port name may vary depending on the device).
Way 2: Wi-Fi Connection (First time Wi-Fi setup or changing the network)
Using the LP2 Plus machine for the first time or changing the network of the LP2 Plus machine, it must be connected to a computer using a USB cable.
- Once the cable is connected, click the ⚙ button in the upper-right corner to open the machine settings page.
- Enter the machine settings page, select Wi-Fi setting, and follow the instructions to configure the Wi-Fi network for the machine.
- Choose the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that operates on the same frequency band as your computer. Enter the Wi-Fi password (for accuracy, it is recommended to enable password preview) and verify if the Wi-Fi name and password are correct. Then, click the Confirm button and wait for the successful configuration of the Wi-Fi connection.
- After the Wi-Fi configuration is successful, please unplug the USB cable on your computer before clicking the Connect via Wi-Fi button.
- In the software interface, click the Connect the device function in the top-right corner. When the Device connection window appears, click the Wi-Fi option and select the corresponding device model from the list.
Way 3: Wi-Fi Connection (The second time)
For the LP2 Plus that has been connected to a Wi-Fi network previously, you can directly click the Connect the device function in the top-right corner. When the Device connection window appears, click the Wi-Fi option and select the corresponding device model from the list.
Way 4: IP Connection
If your LP2 Plus machine is successfully connected to one Wi-Fi network, you can see the IP address of your LP2 Plus machine under Wi-Fi configuration. Take down the IP address.
When using the IP connection, enter the IP address you noted down.
Connection Failure
If the connection fails, please check:
- Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone or iPad and click Forget This Network.
- Restart your mobile device and LP2 Plus, then try the connection process again.
- Verify that your Wi-Fi device is on, then check your LP2 Plus and the computer/mobile phone are within range.
