LP2 Plus Safety Features

  • Updated

This article introduces the primary safety protection features of the LaserPecker LP2 Plus.

1. What Is Security Key?

The security key is a physical device that controls access to the machine’s laser functions. This design helps prevent unauthorized use by untrained individuals (such as children).

If the security key is not inserted correctly, all laser emission functions of the LP2 Plus are automatically disabled.

Each LP2 Plus comes with two security keys. When you receive your LaserPecker LP2 Plus, make sure both keys are included in the package.

(1) Insertion of the Security Key

To activate the laser, insert the security key into the dedicated port on the back of the device (marked with the safety lock icon 🗝). When a valid key is detected, the laser emission function is unlocked and the device returns to normal operation.

2. Emergency Stop Button

The emergency stop button is an important safety feature of the LP2 Plus laser machine. In the event of an emergency, this button is designed to swiftly cut off all working and connection control states of the laser machine. This helps protect both the operator and the machine in the event of an emergency.
