This guide provides step-by-step instructions on using the Slide Extension with your LaserPecker LP2 Plus.
Step 1. Introduction to the Slide Extension

Loosen the four screws on the bracket. Then, remove the main unit together with its mounting plate, align the mounting plate with the four screw holes on the bracket, and secure it by tightening the screws.

Ensure the Slide Extension and LP2 Plus are correctly positioned and connected.

The Slide Extension may produce vibrations during operation. To prevent any impact on the engraving quality, it is recommended to secure the material firmly before starting the engraving.
Step 2. Start Your First Engraving with LP2 Plus & Slide Extension
- Connect your LP2 Plus to the LaserPecker Design Space App. When the connection is established, the LP2 Plus indicator light will remain solid blue. Tap the Create button to access the canvas.
- Tap the ⚙ button in the top right corner of the canvas to open the Mode Settings page, then enable the Slide Extension feature.

Import the image, text, or pattern to be engraved from the toolbar on the bottom-left side of the canvas page.

Swipe the editing bar to the left and adjust the file’s size and position as needed.
- Tap the Preview button in the top right corner of the canvas to start the focal distance adjustment.

After completing the focal length adjustment, click the Continue button to start the preview. In Slide Extension Mode, the preview range will appear as a straight line, accompanied by the movement of the cutting plate.

Once the preview is complete, set the resolution, edit the file name, and click the Send file button.

After sending the file, set the engraving parameters as needed, then tap the Start button to start engraving.
