Problem Description
After connecting LaserPecker LP2 Plus to the computer via USB, the machine's name cannot be found in the device list.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check Computer Drivers
If the CH340 driver is not installed, the computer cannot detect the device’s USB serial port. Verify the driver installation with the following steps:
Windows System
(1) Use the supplied USB cable to connect the machine to your computer.
(2) Right-click the Start button on your computer.
(3) Open Device Manager.
(4) Expand Ports (COM & LPT) and verify that USB-Enhanced-SERIAL CH9102 (COM6) is listed. (The COM number on a different computer is different.)
macOS system
(1) Open the System Report window.
(2) Under Hardware, select USB to view the list of connected USB devices.
(3) Verify whether a USB Serial device is listed.
If the driver is missing, follow the steps below to install it and try again.

2. Check the USB Cable and Port on LaserPecker LP2 Plus
(1) Please ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to the Type-C port labeled with a computer icon on the back of the device.
(2) Check whether the USB cable is securely connected at both the machine and computer ends. If necessary, unplug and reconnect the cable.
(3) If LDS still does not recognize the machine, try using a different USB cable.
(4) If the device is still not recognized, test the computer’s USB ports with a USB flash drive or card reader to confirm they are functioning properly. If a port is found to be faulty, restart the computer and reconnect the device.
3. Check Computer Antivirus and Firewall
Please disable the computer's antivirus and firewall functions, then restart LDS and reconnect the USB cable.
4. Check Your Computer
(1) Ensure that your computer meets the performance requirements for running LDS. Refer to the figure below for the specific requirements.

(2) Connect your device to a different computer to check whether the machine can be recognized.
