LX2 Riser Base Guide

  • Updated
The standard material processing height for the LaserPecker LX2 machine is 45mm. To engrave materials taller than 45mm, you can install the Riser Base (sold separately) to extend the maximum processing thickness to 150mm.

3. Quick Assembly

Step 1

Place the front and rear panels, as well as the left and righit side panels according to the image. (Make sure each panel is oriented correctly.)

Step 3

Align the front and rear panels with the slots on the side panels, then secure them using the H2.0 hex key to fix all twelve M3*6 screws.

4. Processing Range with the Riser Base

The Riser Base divides the material processing range into four levels, each supporting a different material thickness, up to a maximum height of 150mm. You can place the Base Plate on the suitable layer for objects of different heights. The compatible range for each level is as follows:
Raise levelSupported Material HeightHeight Level
Level 116.5 - 76.5 mm3.png
Level 241 - 101 mm4.png
Level 365.5 - 125.5 mm5.png
Level 490 - 150 mm6.png

5. Processing with the Riser Base

After installing the Riser Base, please follow the guidelines below to ensure optimal processing results:

Step 1

Keep the processing mode set to "Base Plate" Processing Mode.

Step 2

After placing the material on the Base Plate, refresh the camera background and use the "Auto Measure" function to complete the focus measurement.

Step 3

To achieve precise alignment of the material and engraving design, we strongly recommend using the Crosshair "Calibration" Function.

When the Base Plate is installed on different layer of the Riser Base, it can introduce visual parallax, reducing the accuracy of the "Camera Positioning" Function. The crosshair "Calibration" function uses a physical red crosshair to indicate the processing area, effectively avoiding this error.

Step 4

Once the focus and alignment settings are complete, the remaining steps are the same as the usual engraving process. Please set the processing parameters, preview, and start the processing task.
