“Security Key Not Inserted” on LX2

  • Updated

This guide explains the purpose of the Security Key on the LaserPecker LX2 and how to resolve the "Security Key Not Inserted" issue.

What Is the Security Key?

The Security Key is a physical device that controls access to the machine's laser-related functions. If the Security Key is missing, the LaserPecker LX2 will not emit a laser beam. It prevents the machine from being used by children or untrained users who may not handle the laser safely.

Each LaserPecker LX2 is supplied with two security keys. Upon receipt, verify that both keys are included and work properly.

Security Key Not Inserted Status

The PC software checks for the Security Key when connecting to the machine. If the key is not inserted, a message will appear: "Security Key Not Inserted!"

With the security key correctly inserted, the laser emission function is unlocked, and the machine returns to normal operation.
