1. Operation Access Control
The LX2 features two Security Keys designed to control access to its laser-related functions. Without the Security Key inserted, the laser will not emit, preventing children or untrained personnel from operating the machine.
Inserting the Security Key:
Insert the Security Key correctly to unlock the laser function and restore normal operation.
Removing the Security Key:
Removing the Security Key will immediately lock the laser and related functions.
Machine status without a Security Key:
When connected to the PC software, the system will check for the Security Key. If none is detected, a prompt will appear: Security Key Not Inserted!
2. Emergency Stop
The Emergency Stop Button is a critical safety feature. Pressing it immediately cuts power to the machine, halting processing and protecting both the operator and the device.
Triggering Emergency Stop:
In the event of an emergency (e.g., processing error, machine malfunction), press the Emergency Stop Button to quickly shut down the machine.
Releasing Emergency Stop:
Once the issue is resolved, rotate the Emergency Stop Button to release it. The machine can then be powered on and used normally.
3. Door-Open Halt
The LX2 monitors the status of the lid and front door. If either door is opened during processing, the machine will automatically stop the laser output and pause the job.
Resuming processing:
After closing the doors, press the device button to resume processing.
4. Flame Detection
The LX2 is equipped with five flame sensors—two at the front, two at the rear of the processing area, and one integrated into the Laser Module—to provide full coverage.
Enabling the flame alarm:
(1) Open LDS software and click the gear icon (top right) to access Device Settings.
(2) Under Mode Settings, enable the Flame Alarm function.
Triggering the flame alarm:
If a flame is detected:
- The machine stops processing automatically.
- Continuous audible alarm sounds.
- The annular indicator flashes red.
- LDS software displays a flame warning prompt.
5. Tilt Detection
To prevent accidents from tipping, if the machine’s tilt angle exceeds 30°, the laser output stops immediately. Three alarms sound, and the annular indicator flashes purple.
6. Overheat Protection
The LX2 features overheat protection. If the Laser Module temperature exceeds 55°C (131°F), the system stops laser output and displays an alert in LDS software.
