Exporting Work Logs on LX2

  • Updated

When using the LaserPecker LX2, you may occasionally encounter issues, such as the machine stopping mid-task and triggering an alarm. In such cases, providing both the log files and the G-code file helps our support team troubleshoot more effectively.

  • Log files record the software’s operational steps and related information.
  • G-code files contain the instructions that guide the machine to execute the processing task.

This article explains how to locate and export log files and G-code files. Please ensure that these files are provided when contacting our support team at support@laserpecker.com. Doing so allows us to identify and resolve issues more efficiently.

1. Exporting Log Files

Follow these steps to locate the debug logs:

(1) Move the mouse to the Main Menu button in the top-left corner and click Settings.

(2) Navigate to the About LDS section.

(3) Click Open to access the folder containing the debug logs.

(4) Locate the log corresponding to the day the issue occurred, and provide it along with the specific time the problem happened.

2. Exporting the G-code File

The G-code file is generated after completing file transfer in the Preview Interface. Follow these steps to export it:

(1) Generate the G-code file:

  • Import the design that caused the issue into the software.
  • Configure the processing mode and parameters as required.
  • Click Process in the lower-right corner to enter the Preview Interface.
  • Click Process again and wait for the file transfer to complete.
