The recommended focal distance for the LP4 Safeguard is 150 mm. You can achieve this using one of the following two focusing methods:
1. Measurement Focus
(1) Connect your LP4 Safeguard and enter the preview interface.
(2) Use a ruler to measure the distance from the bottom of the Field Lens to the material surface.
(3) Enter this measured distance in the "Measurement Focus" field and click Confirm.
(4) The Laser Unit will automatically adjust its height to achieve the correct focus.
2. Red Dots Focusing
(1) Enter the preview interface.
(2) Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the laser height until the two red dots coincide. This indicates proper focus.
*In LaserPecker Design Space, you can enable the "Red dots always on" feature in Settings.
Button actions:
Short press Up/Down: Adjusts height by 0.5 mm per press.
Long press Up/Down: Continuously moves the Laser Unit up or down. Release the button to stop movement.
