Warning
Always perform maintenance and cleaning when the device is powered off.
1. Laser Output Lens Maintenance
- If you notice laser power attenuation (e.g., shallow or uneven engraved patterns), the laser field lens may be dirty.
- Clean it gently using a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol.
2. Dust Filter Cleaning
- Remove the cover on the right side of the Laser Unit to access the dust filter.
- Clean the filter if dust has accumulated.
3. Standard Enclosure Exhaust Fan Cleaning
- Dust can block the exhaust fan and smoke vents over time.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to detach the fan from the Standard Enclosure.
- Clean the fan to ensure proper smoke exhaust.
4. Standard Enclosure Base Plate Cleaning
- Use a handheld vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove dust and residue from the work area and other parts.
5. Reduce Smoke
To maintain a cleaner environment and reduce smoke, use the LaserPecker Air Purifier, which removes nearly all smoke produced during engraving.
