Always perform maintenance and cleaning when the device is powered off.

1. Laser Output Lens Maintenance

  • If you notice laser power attenuation (e.g., shallow or uneven engraved patterns), the laser field lens may be dirty.
  • Clean it gently using a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol.

2. Dust Filter Cleaning

  • Remove the cover on the right side of the Laser Unit to access the dust filter.
  • Clean the filter if dust has accumulated.

3. Standard Enclosure Exhaust Fan Cleaning

  • Dust can block the exhaust fan and smoke vents over time.
  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to detach the fan from the Standard Enclosure.
  • Clean the fan to ensure proper smoke exhaust.

4. Standard Enclosure Base Plate Cleaning

  • Use a handheld vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove dust and residue from the work area and other parts.

5. Reduce Smoke

To maintain a cleaner environment and reduce smoke, use the LaserPecker Air Purifier, which removes nearly all smoke produced during engraving.
