Vector Graphic Import Methods (LDS 3.X Beta)

  • Updated

LDS supports importing SVG vector graphics. Vector graphics are defined by mathematical formulas, allowing them to scale infinitely without loss of quality.

In LDS, SVG files can be imported using two different modes. You can select the appropriate import mode based on your processing requirements and the file’s compatibility.

1. Import Methods Overview

Vector Format Import

Files are imported as editable vector objects, supporting Line Engraving, Fill Engraving, and Cut modes.

Image Format Import

Files are converted and imported as raster images, supporting only the Image Engraving mode.

Use case:

If an SVG file displays incorrectly or appears inconsistent with the original design in LDS, you can try switching to this import mode. The system will automatically render it as an image for processing.
