LX2 Abnormal Noise During Operation

  • Updated

Problem Description

Abnormal noise is heard during LX2 operation, including X-, Y-, or Z-axis movement, measurement, or processing.

Troubleshooting

Before troubleshooting, power off the device.

1. Check for External Interference

Ensure that no non-processing objects (such as tools, debris, or materials) are placed on the Base Plate.

Remove any objects that may obstruct the movement of the Laser Module.

2. Verify Measurement Position (Z-axis)

When using Auto Measure or Curved Surface Measurement, confirm that the measurement position is correct.

If the measurement position is incorrect, the Laser Module may collide with the material, resulting in abnormal Z-axis noise.

3. Inspect X/Y-Axis Guide Rails

Visually inspect the X- and Y-axis linear guide rails for dust, debris, or foreign objects.

Gently move the Laser Module manually along the X/Y axes to check for resistance or abnormal friction.

4. Check Stepper Motor Cables

Inspect the following stepper motor cables for looseness, damage, or poor connection. Reconnect them if necessary.

Contact Support

If the abnormal noise persists after completing the steps above, please record a video clearly capturing the noise and describe the operation during which it occurs (e.g., movement, processing, or measurement).
Send the video and description to support@laserpecker.com for further assistance.
