Replacing the LX2 Distance Sensor

If the Distance Sensor becomes worn or damaged, the accuracy of the Auto Measure function may be affected.

To restore normal measurement accuracy and ensure proper operation, replace the Distance Sensor as needed.

Before proceeding, power off the device and allow it to cool completely.

Step 1 Access the Distance Sensor

Power off the device. Lift the top lid and open the front door.

Step 2 Remove the Distance Sensor

Remove the Distance Sensor from its mounting position.

Step 3 Install the New Distance Sensor

Take the new Distance Sensor and align it with the sensor mounting position on the left side of the Laser Module.

Secure it in place using the built-in magnetic attachment.
