LX2 Laser Module Cannot Be Locked Securely

Problem Description

If the Laser Module remains loose after pressing down the right-side handle during installation, follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Before proceeding, power off the device and allow it to cool completely.

Step 1 Remove the Laser Module

Power off the device. Disconnect the Laser Module cables, the Distance Sensor, and the air hose, then remove the Laser Module.

Step 2 Remove the Mounting Base

Use an H2.5 hex key to unscrew the four screws on the Laser Module Mounting Base and remove the entire base.

Step 3 Tighten the Base Locking Block

Flip the base assembly over. Use an H2.0 hex key to tighten the screw that secures the Base Locking Block.

(This restores the clamping force of the mount.)

Step 4 Reinstall the Mounting Base

Reinstall the Laser Module Mounting Base onto the machine and securely fasten it with the four screws.

Step 5 Place the Laser Module onto the Mount

Install the Laser Module from top to bottom. Ensure that the screw highlighted in the diagram is completely flush with the surface of the mount.

Step 6 Secure the Laser Module

Press the right-side handle down and confirm that the Laser Module is securely installed without any looseness.
