Problem Description
The LaserPecker LP1 Plus cannot be detected or connected when attempting to pair the device with LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) via Bluetooth.
Troubleshooting - Android
Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- When launching the LDS app for the first time after installation, a permission request dialog will appear. Please allow the app to access Location, GPS, and Bluetooth permissions, as shown in the images below.
- If you previously selected “Deny”, manually enable the required permissions in your phone’s system settings.
- Alternatively, uninstall and reinstall the LDS app, then grant permissions when prompted on first launch.
Troubleshooting - iOS / iPadOS
On iOS and iPadOS, only Bluetooth authorization is required.
Once Bluetooth access is enabled in system settings, the LDS app will be able to:
- Activate Bluetooth functionality
- Search for nearby devices
- Establish a connection with LP1 Plus
- Communicate with the device
Important Note
Device pairing must be completed within the LDS app, not through the phone’s system Bluetooth menu.
To connect
- Open the LDS app.
- Tap Connect Device at the top of the screen.
- Select LP1 Plus from the device list to complete the connection.
