LDS Can't Find LP1 Plus via Bluetooth

Problem Description

The LaserPecker LP1 Plus cannot be detected or connected when attempting to pair the device with LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) via Bluetooth.

Troubleshooting - Android

Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.

  • When launching the LDS app for the first time after installation, a permission request dialog will appear. Please allow the app to access Location, GPS, and Bluetooth permissions, as shown in the images below.
  • If you previously selected “Deny”, manually enable the required permissions in your phone’s system settings.
  • Alternatively, uninstall and reinstall the LDS app, then grant permissions when prompted on first launch.

Troubleshooting - iOS / iPadOS

On iOS and iPadOS, only Bluetooth authorization is required.

Once Bluetooth access is enabled in system settings, the LDS app will be able to:

  • Activate Bluetooth functionality
  • Search for nearby devices
  • Establish a connection with LP1 Plus
  • Communicate with the device

Important Note

Device pairing must be completed within the LDS app, not through the phone’s system Bluetooth menu.

To connect

  • Open the LDS app.
  • Tap Connect Device at the top of the screen.
  • Select LP1 Plus from the device list to complete the connection.
