Cause

This issue is typically caused by Local Network access not being granted to LaserPecker Design Space (LDS).

Without this permission, macOS blocks the software from discovering and communicating with the LX2 device. Solution: Enable Local Network Permission

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open System Settings

  • Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of the screen.
  • Select System Settings.

2. Navigate to Local Network Settings

Go to Privacy & Security → Local Network.

3. Enable Permission for LaserPecker Design Space

  • Locate LaserPecker Design Space in the application list.
  • Turn on the switch next to it.
  • If this permission is disabled, LDS will be unable to detect or connect to the LX2 device.
