LDS PC v2.11.0

1. New & Enhanced Features

  • Added LSO Training & Certification:

This feature requires users to complete the LSO tutorial (and pass the certification exam where applicable) before connecting to and operating the machine. This also includes accessing the Free Mode and preview light adjustment.

  • Updated Privacy Agreement:

The privacy terms for software installation and user login have been revised. Please review the updated agreement during installation or login to understand the terms that apply.

2. Stability Fixes & Bug Resolutions

  • Fixed Display Issue in Material Test Array:

In the Material Test Array, when Power and Depth were set to 100% and both Rows and Columns were set to 1, the interface would abnormally display NaN. (Fixed; the interface now correctly displays power and depth values as 100%, with no NaN errors.)

  • Fixed Incorrect Negative Rotation Angle Display:

When setting the rotation angle, the value would abnormally change to a negative number and display in red. (Fixed; the rotation angle now consistently displays as a positive value with normal color.)

  • Fixed SVG File Import Failure:

The software failed to import SVG files. (Fixed; the import process for SVG files has been enhanced, with most graphics now importing correctly.)

LDS App v5.11.0

1. New & Enhanced Features

  • Added LSO Training & Certification:

This feature requires users to complete the LSO tutorial (and pass the certification exam where applicable) before connecting to and operating the machine. This also includes accessing the Free Mode and preview light adjustment.

  • Compatibility with LX2:

The LDS App now officially supports the LX2 host (requires firmware version 9008.3.8 or higher). Users can complete the entire workflow from network configuration to engraving within the App. Currently, only the base plate processing and Riser Base are supported. Compatibility with other modes will be added in future updates.

  • Added Polish Language Support:

Polish has been added as a new interface language option, allowing users to operate the LDS App in a localized environment for a smoother experience.

  • Updated Privacy Agreement:

The privacy terms for user login have been updated. Please review the revised agreement during installation or login to understand the terms that apply.

2. Stability Fixes & Bug Resolutions

Android

  • Fixed EAN-13 Barcode Rule Validation Error:

When generating barcodes using the EAN-13 type, the App incorrectly displayed a "Barcode rule mismatch" prompt. (Fixed; the system now correctly validates the rules and generates EAN-13 barcodes.)

  • Fixed Cloud Data Display Issue on Android:

Account cloud data synchronized and displayed correctly on PC and iOS, but showed a quantity of 0 on Android. (Fixed; Android now properly syncs and displays cloud data, consistent with PC and iOS.)

iOS

  • Fixed Abnormal Engraving Completion Pop-up:

After entering the engraving settings interface, the software displayed "Please confirm the laser work area is safe" but occasionally triggered an abnormal engraving completion pop-up. (Fixed; the interface now displays pop-ups correctly without erroneous completion prompts.)

  • Fixed Incomplete Engraving with High Curvature or Flipped Text:

When text was set with high curvature or a horizontal/vertical flip, engraving would start but not complete fully. (Fixed; high curvature or flipped text now engraves completely.)

  • Fixed Premature Engraving Completion at Text Rotation ≥75°:

When the text rotation angle was set to 75° or greater, engraving would start but then immediately complete abnormally. (Fixed; text with rotation ≥75° now engraves normally without premature completion.)

  • Fixed Unrestricted Preview for Oversized Graphics (>100x100mm):

When a graphic's size exceeded 100x100mm, the vector preview function still allowed a normal preview. (Fixed; preview is now blocked for graphics exceeding 100x100mm.)

  • Fixed Cylinder Diameter Input Precision Inconsistency in Rotary Extension Mode:

After enabling Rotary Extension Mode, entering the cylinder diameter before preview on iOS only supported one decimal place, while Android allowed two. (Fixed; all platforms now support two decimal places, ensuring consistent parameter input precision.)

  • Fixed Multiple Engraving Passes Execution Issue with Experimental Feature:

After enabling the experimental feature, setting multiple engraving passes in the parameters resulted in the device executing only one pass. (Fixed; multiple engraving passes now execute correctly as specified, ensuring parameter effectiveness.)

  • Fixed Abnormal Settings Display After Device Switch:

On iOS, after connecting to an LP5 and switching the laser type to 1064nm, switching to an LP2 Plus caused the engraving settings page to display frequency settings abnormally, and starting engraving would complete immediately. (Fixed; the settings page now displays correctly after device switching, and the engraving process executes properly.)

  • Fixed Device Data Not Displaying in iOS Recent Projects for LP4:

When using the LP4 device with the iOS app for engraving, Device Data in the phone's Recent Projects would not display, even after multiple engraving jobs. (Fixed; Device Data now correctly appears in Recent Projects after engraving.) We sincerely thank Eley for this feedback.

1. New & Enhanced Features

  • System Stability Optimization:

Optimized the status indication of the Annular Light to enhance system stability. During OTA updates, the indicator has been changed from alternating red and blue flashing to solid red or solid blue. During engraving, the light effect has been optimized from a breathing pattern to stable states (e.g., solid green, solid purple, or off).

  • Optimized Annular Light Status During Rotary Connection:

Fixed an issue where the Annular Light would display abnormal colors (yellow/red) when the device was in a reboot state during connection. The indicator now remains solid blue to indicate a stable connection status.

2. Stability Fixes & Bug Resolutions

  • Fixed Occasional Request Timeout When Exiting Preview in Rotary Extension Mode:

Clicking "Exit Preview" in Rotary Extension Mode would occasionally cause a request timeout. (Fixed; the exit preview request is now stable, without timeout exceptions.)

  • Fixed Occasional Background Refresh Failure:

Clicking the background refresh (camera) icon would occasionally cause calibration data storage to fail, triggering an "Unable to refresh background" error. (Fixed; calibration data storage is now stable, and the background refresh completes normally.)

  • Fixed Occasional Machine Crash in Rotary Extension Mode:

The machine would occasionally crash during preview in Rotary Extension Mode. (Fixed; the preview process is now stable, with no more crashes.)

  • Fixed Occasional Communication Interruption During Idle:

The machine would occasionally report a communication interruption after being connected but idle for an extended period. (Fixed; the communication connection now remains stable during idle periods, with no interruption prompts.)

  • Fixed Occasional Communication Interruption When Exiting Preview in Curved Surface Mode:

Long-pressing the multi-function button to exit preview in Curved Surface Mode would occasionally cause a communication interruption. (Fixed; the exit preview operation now responds stably, with no more communication interruptions.)

  • Fixed Occasional Icon Status Anomaly After USB Drive Removal:

The USB drive icon would occasionally still display as "Inserted" after the drive was physically removed. (Fixed; the icon status now updates promptly and displays correctly.)

  • Fixed Occasional Machine Crash During USB Drive Engraving:

Pressing the multi-function button at the start of an engraving job from a USB drive file could cause the machine to crash. (Fixed; the machine no longer crashes during engraving when using files from a USB drive.)

  • Fixed Machine Crash Due to LightBurn Processing with Open Door:

When using LightBurn, clicking "Process" after a console error (triggered by an open lid/door) would cause the machine to crash. (Fixed; processing is now correctly blocked if the door is open, preventing crashes.)

  • Fixed Occasional Auto-Measure Function Failure:

The laser module would occasionally fail to probe downward during the Auto-Measure process. (Fixed; the Automatic Measurement process is now stable and operates correctly.)

  • Fixed Occasional Communication Interruption After Moving Laser Module and Resetting:

Pressing the Reset button immediately after moving the laser module in the preview interface would occasionally cause a communication interruption. (Fixed; the operation logic is now stable, and communication remains connected.)

  • Fixed Network Configuration Issues with Wi-Fi Names Containing Special Characters:

The machine would fail to connect when the Wi-Fi or hotspot name contained non-ASCII characters (e.g., Chinese) or symbols. (Fixed; the machine can now correctly recognize and connect to WiFi networks with such special characters.)
