Connecting LX2 & Configuring Wi-Fi (App)

This guide explains how to connect your LaserPecker LX2 to a Wi-Fi network using the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) mobile app.

Follow these steps when setting up Wi-Fi for the first time or changing to a new network.

Before You Start

Make sure the following conditions are met before proceeding:

  • Your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
  • The LX2 is powered on.
  • The indicator light is flashing white (standby mode).
  • The LaserPecker Design Space app is installed and updated to the latest version.

Step 1: Add the LX2 Device in the LDS App

  • Open the LaserPecker Design Space app on your phone
  • Tap the "+" button in the top-right corner
  • Select "LX2" as the machine model
  • Tap "Next" to continue

Step 2: Select a Wi-Fi Network

Both the phone and the LX2 must be connected to the same 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network

  • Choose a Wi-Fi network from the list
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password
  • Enable "Show Password" to verify accuracy
  • Tap "Next" to start the configuration

Step 3: Connect to the LX2 Hotspot

  • When prompted, open your phone’s Wi-Fi settings
  • Connect to the LaserPecker LX2 hotspot
  • Return to the LDS app
  • Wait for the configuration process to complete

Successful Connection

  • A blue flashing indicator light means the Wi-Fi setup is successful.
  • The device will appear as online in the LDS app.

Troubleshooting

If the network configuration fails, check the following:

  • Your phone and the LDS app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
  • The Wi-Fi password is entered correctly (case-sensitive, including special characters)
  • If the issue persists, retry the setup process.
