On the project page, click the Main Menu and select Settings.
1. General Settings
(1) Language: Set the software interface language.
(2) Region Settings: Select your region.
(3) Units: Set the measurement unit for objects and canvas.
(4) Canvas:
- Rulers (enabled by default): Enable or disable the horizontal and vertical rulers on the canvas. When an object is selected, its width and height are highlighted on the rulers.
- Auto-snapping (enabled by default): Enable or disable the auto snapping feature, allowing different objects to snap to each other based on their edges for easier alignment.
- Precise Graphic Selection: Enables easier selection of overlapping or nested vector elements.
2. File Settings
(1) Import Settings: Define how to handle images that exceed the canvas size when imported.
- Ask every time: The software will prompt you each time the image is too large.
- Auto shrink: The image is automatically scaled to fit the canvas.
- Original size: The image retains its original dimensions.
(2) Vector Import Mode:
- Vector: Keep the vector format.
- Image: Rasterize the vector graphic and import it as a bitmap.
(3) Tolerance: Used for curve‑fitting algorithms; usually no adjustment is needed.
(4) Log Level: Choose which log content to open (info, debug, warn, error).
3. About LDS
Check the current LDS version and see if an update is available. If a new version is available, a small red dot will appear in the upper right corner of "Check for Updates", prompting you to update the software. Click it to upgrade.
