This guide provides a step-by-step workflow for using the L-shaped positioner with your LaserPecker LP3 to streamline batch material engraving.
Preparation
Ensure you have your materials and the L-shaped positioner ready.
For consistent batch results, all materials must be identical in type, size, and thickness to avoid deviations in pattern alignment or engraving depth.
Step 1: App Connection
Connect your LP3 to the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) App and tap "Create" to enter the canvas.
Step 2: Import & Layout
Import your image, text, or pattern from the bottom-left toolbar. Swipe the editing bar to adjust the element's size and initial position on the canvas.
Step 3: Preview & Focus
Tap "Preview" in the top-right corner to adjust the focal distance. This ensures the laser is perfectly focused on the material surface.
Step 4: Positioning & Fine-Tuning
Install the L-shaped positioner onto the base plate to secure the material. Tap "Full Screen" to return to the canvas, then use the "Move & Rotate" tool for precision alignment. The units "1," "2," and "5" represent the movement step distance (mm).
Step 5: Parameters & Start
Set the resolution and file name, then tap "Send file". On the next screen, configure your engraving parameters (Power/Depth) and tap "Start".
Batch Engraving Methods
Method 1: Using the App "Repeat" Function
Once the first engraving is finished, replace the material and align it against the L-shaped positioner. In the LDS app, tap "Repeat" to start the next engraving with the same settings.
Method 2: Using the Batch Engraving Button
Connect the Batch Engraving Button to the LP3 machine via a USB Type-C to Type-A cable. Enable the "Batch Engraving" feature in Mode Settings (gear icon ⚙️).
