Features & Performance
- The LX2 is a versatile multi-tool system. You can choose from four specialized modules to suit your projects:
- 20W (455nm Diode): Perfect for high-detail artistic engraving.
- 40W/60W (455nm Diode): The production workhorses for deep cutting and high-speed throughput.
- 2W (1064nm Infrared): The "Metal Master" for surgical-precision marking on all metals and plastics. - - World-First Speed: Blazing 1000 mm/s engraving speed—boosting production by 35%.
- Next-Level Power: 40W/60W high-performance cutting with 8mm ultra-deep focal depth.
- Instant Swap: Tool-free wedge-lock system to switch between specialized laser modules in seconds.
- Certified Safety: Class 1 Enclosed System with 9-fold proactive safety shields for total peace of mind. - Extremely stable. The LX2 features an industrial-grade dual Y-axis and linear guide motion system, paired with a blistering 10,000 mm/s² acceleration. This ensures "rock-solid stability" even at top speeds without shaking, maintaining pinpoint edge precision for large orders.
- The standard LX2 setup handles materials with a maximum height of 45mm. By adding the LaserPecker Riser Base, you can expand the workspace to accommodate objects up to 150mm tall.
- Yes. The LX2 is equipped with industrial-grade limit switches on the X, Y, and Z axes. Every time the machine powers on, it performs an automatic homing operation (left-top corner) to ensure perfect coordinate accuracy for every project.
- If you are a crafting enthusiast, a gift customization business, or a professional designer, yes. The LX2 bridges the gap between "hobbyist" and "industrial." Compliant with Class 1 laser standards, it handles flat, cylindrical, and curved materials with ease, making it perfect for everything from one-off handmade gifts to small-batch commercial production.
-
455nm (20W/40W/60W): Wood, Bamboo, Paper, Leather, Food, Fabric, Plastic, Opaque acrylic, Opaque glass, Glazed ceramic, Stone, Silicon, 304 Stainless Steel, Anodized metal, and Coated metal.
1064nm (2W IR): Gold, Silver, Copper, Platinum, Aluminum, Iron, and most common metals/plastics.Note on Transparent Materials: The LX2 cannot directly process clear materials because the wavelengths are not absorbed. You must pre-treat the material (e.g., applying a coating) before engraving.
- It eliminates the frustration of wasted materials and misalignment:
- Point-to-Shape™ (Physical): Ideal for micro-engravings requiring absolute coordinate accuracy—10x higher precision than standard cameras.
- 12MP/6K HD Camera (Visual): A true "what you see is what you get" experience for rapid batch layout and one-click Smart Fill automation. - The LX2 features 3D Surface Adaptive Focus. An integrated probe automatically scans the object to create a 3D height map. The laser then dynamically adjusts its height in real-time during engraving, ensuring consistent focus on curved or uneven surfaces.
Software & Connectivity
-
The LX2 supports two convenient methods: High-speed USB cable or Stable WiFi.
For the initial WiFi connection, you need to connect the machine with a USB cable first to complete the network setup.
- Yes. The machine can operate offline without the need for an internet connection once the file is transmitted to the machine.
- - LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) Beta: Our custom software optimized for LX2, featuring an Accelerated Rendering Engine and Multi-Process Architecture.
- LightBurn: The industry-standard professional laser software.
Maintenance & Support
-
Not at all. The LX2 arrives fully assembled and factory-tested. You only need to:
- Install the laser module (Tool-free!).
- Install the exhaust pipe.
- Connect the power and software.
The entire process takes only a few minutes from unboxing to your first engraving. - For heavy use or high-smoke materials:
- Weekly: Clean the base plate and the laser protective lens.
- Monthly: Clean the exhaust fan, 6K camera lens, and flame sensor. - The LX2 is designed for studio and home use. In standby, the fan stops and noise is very low. During normal operation, the sound level does not exceed 70dB—roughly equivalent to a standard vacuum cleaner.
- Clean the lens regularly with alcohol wipes to maintain output power. If engraving results remain poor or "fuzzy" after cleaning, or if you frequently cut materials that produce heavy smoke, you should consider replacing the protective lens.
Safety & Expansion
- Absolutely. The LX2 is a Class 1 Certified fully enclosed system. It features "Nine-Fold Safety Shields" (flame detection, auto shut-off, tilt protection, 99.99% dual light filtration, etc.), making it safe for offices and schools.
- The LX2 has built-in flame detection that automatically shuts off the machine. For ultimate safety, our LaserPecker Fire Safety Set triggers within seconds of detecting 170°C temperatures or flames, protecting your property even when unattended.
- Yes. While the standard area is 500×305mm, you can add the LaserPecker Conveyor Feeder for ultra-long materials and unattended production, or the LaserPecker Riser Base for extra-thick items and large-diameter cylinders.
- Highly Recommended. For healthy, odor-free indoor production, we recommend the LaserPecker Smoke Purifier. Its 4-stage HEPA filtration captures 99.97% of particles and odors, ensuring a clean environment for your home or studio. It operates quietly (≤61 dB) and integrates seamlessly with your LX2 setup.
