LP4: Delete Files on the Touch Screen

  • Updated

If there are too many engraving history files on the LP4 touch screen or you need to clear them, you can remove them using the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) app.

⚠️ Important Notes Before You Start
When you connect your LP4 for the first time or reinstall the LDS app, previous engraving records will not automatically appear on the touch screen. In this case, please run and complete any engraving job first to trigger data synchronization between the app and the LP4 device.
After the engraving is finished, wait about 1–2 minutes to allow the LDS app to fully transfer and process the data. Once synchronization is complete, you can follow the steps below to delete stored files from your LP4 touch screen.

1. Connect LP4 to the LDS APP

Make sure your LP4 is connected to the LaserPecker Design Space app.

Then go to the "Profile/User" section.

2. Open "Recent Projects"

Tap "Recent Projects".

You will see two categories:

(1) Local Data

This refers to engraving history stored in the app cache. It includes all engraving records under your account across different devices.

(2) Device Data

This only includes engraving files created on this LP4 and synced through the app.

3. Delete Device History

⚠️Note
These engraving history files cannot be deleted individually — they can only be removed in bulk.

In the top-right corner of the "Recent Projects" page, tap the Delete button.

A confirmation popup will appear:

"After deletion, the data cannot be recovered. Do you want to continue?"

Tap Confirm to delete all device engraving records.

Only Device Data will be deleted from the history. Your Local Data in the app will NOT be affected.
