Connecting LP4 to LDS

This guide explains how to connect the LaserPecker LP4 to the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) app/software on both PC and mobile devices.

1. LDS Availability

LDS is available on the following platforms:

  • PC: Windows & macOS
  • Mobile: iOS & Android

The LP4 supports both Bluetooth and USB connections.

Note
(1) The LP4 can only connect to one device at a time.
(2) Make sure the machine’s blue status indicator light is blinking, indicating it is not currently connected and ready to pair.

2. PC Connection Guide

Supported Connection Types

  • USB Connection
  • Bluetooth Dongle Connection

Method 1: USB Connection

Step 1: Install the driver

Ensure that the required driver is correctly installed in your PC’s LDS software.

Step 2: Connect the LP4 via USB-A to USB-C cable

(1) Power on your LP4.

(2) Confirm the blue status indicator light is blinking.

(3) Connect the cable:

  • USB-A → your desktop/laptop
  • USB-C → your LP4

(5) Launch the latest version of LDS software.

(6) Click "Connect the device", then choose USB connection.

Method 2: Bluetooth Dongle Connection

(1) Power on your LP4.

(2) Ensure the blue status indicator light is blinking.

(3) Plug the LaserPecker Bluetooth dongle into your PC.

(4) Open the latest LDS software, click "Connect the device", and select Bluetooth connection.

Note
A LaserPecker Bluetooth dongle is required. The built-in Bluetooth of PCs/laptops cannot connect directly to the LP4.

3. Mobile Device Connection Guide

Supported Connection

  • Bluetooth Connection

Step 1: Enable Bluetooth

  • Turn on Bluetooth on your iOS or Android device.
  • Ensure the LP4’s blue status indicator light is blinking.

Step 2: Open the LDS App

Launch the latest version of LaserPecker Design Space (LDS).

Step 3: Select LP4 from the device list

In the LDS app, locate and select LP4 in the list of available devices.

Step 4: Confirm successful connection

When connected successfully, the LP4’s blue status indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid.
