This guide will show you step by step how to connect the LP4 to LDS app/software.
LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) is available for:
PC: Windows & Mac
Mobile Devices: iOS & Android
The LaserPecker LP4 supports both Bluetooth and USB connections. However, it can only connect to one device type at a time for laser engraving. Ensure the machine's blue status indicator light is blinking, which means it is not currently connected to any device and is ready to connect.

Method 1: USB Connection
Step 1: Install driver
Ensure you have installed the necessary driver on your PC LDS software.
Step 2: Connect the LP4 machine using USB-A to USB-C cable
- Power up your LP4 machine
- Ensure the LP4 machine's blue status indicator light is blinking (indicating it's not connected).
- Use a USB-A to USB-C cable:
- USB-A end: Connect to your desktop/laptop computer.
- USB-C end: Connect to your LaserPecker LP4.
- Open the latest version of LDS software. Click [Connect the device], then select "USB connection".
Method 2: Bluetooth Dongle Connection
- Power up your LP4 machine
- Ensure the LP4 machine's blue status indicator light is blinking (indicating it's not connected).
- Plug in the LaserPecker Bluetooth dongle
- Open the latest version of LDS software, click [Connect the device] and select "Bluetooth connection"
A Bluetooth dongle is required for Bluetooth connection. The built-in Bluetooth of desktop/laptop computers cannot directly connect to the LaserPecker LP4.

Step 1: Turn on your device's Bluetooth
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS or Android device.
- Make sure the LP4's blue status indicator light is blinking (indicating it's not connected)
Step 2: Open the latest version of LDS app
Launch the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) app on your mobile device.
Step 3: Select a device to connect
In the LDS app, search for and select the LaserPecker LP4 from the list of available devices.
Step 4: Connect successfully
Once connected, the blue status indicator light on the LP4 will stop blinking and stay solid.
