How to Connect the LaserPecker Machine

The instruction is compatible with LP2, LP3, LP4 and LX series.

Follow the instructions below to connect your LaserPecker machine with the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS ) software via USB-C cable or LP Bluetooth Dongle.

Step 1: Download and Install the LDS Software

Download the latest version of the LDS software and install it. Meanwhile, please turn off the Antivirus software on your computer to ensure a successful installation.

Step 2: Install the Driver

To build the connection between the software and the machine, please follow the pop-up prompt to install the two drivers - CH340 and BLE.

Step 3: Connect Your Machine to LDS

In this step, you have two methods to connect your LaserPecker machine to LDS.

Method 1: Via USB-C Cable

Firstly, power on the machine.

Secondly, connect the machine to the computer using a physical USB-C cable. The cable is included in the package. The portal is shown below.

Thirdly, create a new file or open a file in the LDS software. Click "connect the device" at the upper right corner, and select the right port to connect as shown below.

Lastly, if you hear one beep sound from the machine, it indicates that the machine is successfully connected and ready for operation.

Method 2: Via LP Bluetooth Dongle

Firstly, power on the machine.

Secondly, Plug in the dongle on your computer.

Thirdly, Create a new file or open a file in the LDS software. Click 'connect the device' at the upper right corner, and select the option 'Bluetooth' to connect as shown below.

Lastly, If you hear two beep sounds from the machine, it indicates that the machine is successfully connected and ready for operation. The first beep means it is connecting, and the second beep means it is connected.

Connection Troubleshooting

Error   Self-check Solution
My computer cannot
find the Bluetooth.
Is the driver installed or not? Install the Bluetooth driver with the correct version.
Is your machine powered on? Please power on the machine beforehand.
Is your machine too far from the computer? Please keep the machine within 1 meter of the computer.
Is the LDS software up to date? Download the latest version HERE.
'Device is busy.' Is the Bluetooth correctly connected? Two beep sounds mean it's correctly connected. If you hear only one beep sound, please plug off the BT dongle and reconnect.
Is the machine in operation? If the machine is in operation( engraving, cutting, previewing), please reconnect later when the project is done.
Is the machine already connected via a USB-C cable? Disconnect the machine and try to reconnect via only one way.
