When you open a project, the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) toolbar appears in the sidebar on the left side of the workspace. It includes a set of quick and intuitive design tools, complete with graphic editing features and an image gallery. Click an icon or use keyboard shortcuts to access each tool.
Pen Tool
Click the icon to activate the Pen Tool, or press the shortcut key P. Press ESC to exit. Use the Pen Tool to draw vector shapes and paths with precision.
Brush Tool
Click the icon or press B to activate the Brush Tool. Press ESC to exit. The Brush Tool lets you draw freehand lines, strokes, and patterns directly on the canvas.
Image Tool
Click the icon to import an image, or drag and drop an image directly onto the canvas. LDS supports multiple formats, including G-code, JPG, PNG, BMP, SVG, DXF, and vector files.
Text Tool
Use this feature to add text, QR codes, or barcodes. Double-click a QR code or barcode to edit its content easily.
Shape Tool
The Shape Tool allows you to create straight lines as well as a variety of shapes such as rectangles, circles, polygons, stars, and hearts.
Assets Library
The Assets Library in LDS provides a rich collection of built-in design resources. You can also add files to your local library for quick access. In the Custom section, you can share cloud-based files by logging into your LP account.
