The Batch Fill function is designed for efficient batch production. Using an intelligent visual recognition algorithm, LDS can automatically duplicate the same design onto multiple pieces of similar material, helping you engrave multiple items quickly and consistently.
This guide explains how to use Batch Fill correctly and improve recognition accuracy.
Important Notes
1. Ensure the processing area is bright and evenly lit. Poor lighting may affect camera recognition accuracy.
2. Use materials that contrast clearly with the background to improve detection results.
3. Avoid using materials that are highly reflective, transparent, hollow, excessively thick, or irregularly shaped, as they may not be recognized correctly.
4. Leave at least 10 mm spacing between each object so the camera can distinguish them accurately.
5. The recommended material size is 2 cm or larger. Very small objects may fail to be detected.
For more consistent batch engraving results, arrange all materials in the same direction.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Place the engraving materials on the Base Plate. Make sure all materials have the same size, shape, color, and height.
For best recognition results, ensure the workspace is well-lit, the material contrasts clearly with the background, and there is at least 10 mm spacing between each object.
2. In the top-right corner of LDS, click the camera icon to refresh the background image.
3. Import the design you want to engrave. Place the design onto one material, then adjust its size and angle as needed.
4. Select the design and configure the engraving mode and parameters in the right-side panel.
5. Open the Tool Center from the left toolbar and select "Batch Fill". Then click "Select Material".
6. Move or resize the selection rectangle so it tightly frames only ONE sample material. Avoid selecting multiple objects or too much background area, as this may reduce recognition accuracy.
7. Click Fill to automatically apply the design to all recognized materials.
