Problem Description
LaserPecker LP2 Plus is unable to connect successfully to LDS through the network.
Troubleshooting
Verify Wi-Fi Connection Environment
- When connecting the device to the computer via Wi-Fi, disconnect the USB connection between the device and the computer first.
- Ensure that the computer and the device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Verify Wi-Fi Name and Password
- Verify that the Wi-Fi name and password contain only English letters and numbers.
- To avoid input errors, set the password to visible during entry.
Check Wi-Fi Network
- Check that the Wi-Fi signal strength is strong (full signal recommended).
- If the connection still fails, restart the router or switch to another network.
- If the issue persists, reconfigure the router’s Wi-Fi settings.
Check VPN Status
- Check whether VPN or antivirus firewall functions are enabled on the computer.
- If enabled, exit the VPN or temporarily disable the firewall, then restart the LDS application and try connecting again.
Reconfigure the Device’s Wi-Fi Settings
- If the connection still fails, reconfigure the device’s Wi-Fi settings by referring to the "Connect to LDS PC Software" section in this link: How to Connect the LaserPecker LP2 Plus and Configure Wi-Fi.
Temporary Solution
- If none of the above methods work, use AP Mode or connect the device to the computer via USB as a temporary solution.
