LDS Can't Find LP2 Plus via Wi-Fi

Problem Description

LaserPecker LP2 Plus is unable to connect successfully to LDS through the network.

Troubleshooting

Verify Wi-Fi Connection Environment

  • When connecting the device to the computer via Wi-Fi, disconnect the USB connection between the device and the computer first.
  • Ensure that the computer and the device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Verify Wi-Fi Name and Password

  • Verify that the Wi-Fi name and password contain only English letters and numbers.
  • To avoid input errors, set the password to visible during entry.

Check Wi-Fi Network

  • Check that the Wi-Fi signal strength is strong (full signal recommended).
  • If the connection still fails, restart the router or switch to another network.
  • If the issue persists, reconfigure the router’s Wi-Fi settings.

Check VPN Status

  • Check whether VPN or antivirus firewall functions are enabled on the computer.
  • If enabled, exit the VPN or temporarily disable the firewall, then restart the LDS application and try connecting again.

Reconfigure the Device’s Wi-Fi Settings

Temporary Solution

  • If none of the above methods work, use AP Mode or connect the device to the computer via USB as a temporary solution.
